There is a special joy when it comes to a Latin American festival focused on digital management, we broke it mega!, 16 countries, more than 1,250 applications and only 205 nominees, out of all that immense filter, two awards are ours.
They have been very hard months for all of us, in Colombia we went through the anguish of an overwhelmed society that fell apart, what a joy to have been able to contribute to spreading this reflection. First digital awards that the agency brings to the region.
We won a Platinum! The best of the best. The highest award of the festival. This award fills us with great pride, this is where so many days of effort and dedication are reflected to bring out a campaign that, from its conception, promised to mark a milestone in terms of communication for the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga and this award is the reliable sample.
The same campaign that led us to win a Platinum, dragged with it another award in one of the toughest categories of the festival, many participants and only 3 winners.
Being demanding in each of the details, trying new graphic communication techniques and taking risks to show services in a creative and different way, pay off in campaigns like this, with the ability to win in one of the most attractive categories of the festival.
For a hair we had the opportunity to go to receive this award in Dubai, seriously, if it weren't for the pandemic that caused its closure, we would have been there. A mention that it is like a 4th place in the category of brand design. It has never been "easy" but I must admit that each year the festivals are more challenging. To date there are 30 recognitions, let's see what creativity brings us.
PVS arrived at the CLAPs, opening the way for other quality ventures in the region that are willing to compete and measure themselves with agencies, independent, and studios from all over Ibero-America. We love this festival as we love the well done design.
When the quality of the works registered that are winners in the CLAP awards is carefully observed, a reflection arises, the incredible quality of the work that competes in this specialized design festival that is organized in Central America.
We returned to the WINA awards, as it is recognized in Latin America. There is a factor that is also worth taking into account, it is not about registering any of the pieces that we make for the clients with whom we work, the effort involved in selecting the piece that will be registered is a task that goes unnoticed. That first filter is a very important percentage of the award since we have always participated with pieces that we execute in campaigns that have seen the light.
There are awards for works and there are those that also excite us a lot, the harvest of awards of the year led us to be selected as the number one regional agency in Colombia.
Here things go up to another level. Competing in a global festival of independent agencies has really put us to the test, you can't imagine what it represents until you really immerse yourself in what the event is. This year in Los Angeles it was not one, not two, not even three, it was four awards!
The truth is that I do not know what to add except joy, the genuine joy that awakens an award that no one gets used to when the enormous effort we make is recognized.

FePI represents a special affection, the statuette represents Inodoro Pereyra and was designed by Fontanarrosa, one of my favorite cartoonists of all time. Having a Señor Pereyra in the house is a special pride, he is no longer so alone, he has a great family that accompanies him and that grows year after year.
Our first year participating and we bring us 3 awards in the CLAP awards, among which there is one from PLATINUM, wow !. The CLAPs bring together the main institutions linked to design, thus establishing the first benchmark of international excellence for Ibero-America.
The FICE Festival is an event that brings together the most select of the marketing and advertising industry, brings new trends in innovation and creativity to all sectors of the industry, with references that are protagonists in the main companies in the world. It is always great news to be recognized at this important event.
Undoubtedly El Dorado is the most important festival of Colombian advertising today, where the best of the industry participates, it is the theater of the large multinational agencies that have a presence in Colombia. Bringing a statuette from this festival is an incredible pride, most likely unattainable and above all incalculable in terms of reputation. But PVS is not new to these contests, in 2010 we participated and won nothing less than a GOLD, at that time the festival with other characteristics in the organization was called NOVA. The most incredible thing about this award is that it was thanks to a development made for the advertising industry by APPPROAD ourselves. Innovation is part of PVS DNA.
We have always wanted to go to the FePI delivery ceremony, it is not easy, it is a long trip in a very short period of time to plan it, however there we were, representing Santander and Colombia in a category that is one of the insignia for a strategic agency. Info: https://www.fepi.com.ar/
Just as there is the FePI in the southern cone, there are the FICE (Ibero-American Festival of Creativity and Strategy) awards in the north of South America, so they are just as emotional for the agency, again we celebrate wildly. Once again we were pioneers in winning.
With our participation in the FePI we may have called the attention of the organizers of this Argentine festival who contacted us to invite us to participate. It really only had one edit before it disappeared.
This time we went for a walk around the neighborhood and with a silver in the FePi (The First International Festival of Independent Advertising) we returned more than happy. We open the participation of local agencies in international festivals. FePI is more than an institution, it turns 15 in 2021 and has a great reputation within Latin American independent agencies.
Another unsurpassed award, organized by the Colombian Chamber of Informatics and Telecommunications CCIT, the Online Government Program of the ICT ministry and the El Tiempo Publishing House exalts the values of talent and innovation of Colombian professionals and companies, who make use of ICT to create value for your users or customers. It is the only Award that highlights the presence of Colombian digital content on the web.
We started with gold, and nothing more than in the most important awards of the category in Colombia, the remembered NOVA that today are known as EL DORADO. The best of the best of Colombia's multinational and independent agencies, the first local agency to win at this level.
