In PVS we were back in the news! Three new recognitions granted in the 2016 edition of the CLAP awards (International Design, Branding and Communication Awards), place us in the great leagues of the advertising world for garnering recognition in the most prominent national, Latin American and Latin American advertising festivals.
This time we won two awards in the category Best Graphic Press Ad or Campaign and one in the category Best Illustration Work Applied to Advertising Communication. These three awards with the CLAP seal are added to the 11 metals that the agency has received in recent years, thus adding a total of 14 awards.
“The selection of the jury is truly ‘descrestante’ because numerous associations from Latin America participated,” said Juan Guillermo Vargas, one of the PVS partners after expressing his satisfaction and pride for an achievement that he described as highly prestigious. ”
And it is no wonder, because in this new opportunity we selected part of our best creative work to be put under the magnifying glass of a jury “made up exclusively of representatives appointed by the most prestigious institutions” in the world of design, as stated by CLAP on its official website.
In this way, PVS received the nod of the Ibero-American Society of Digital Graphics, the Uruguayan Chamber of Design, the Union of Graphic Designers of Buenos Aires (Argentina), Meeting of Design Companies of Spain, the College of Professional Designers of Chile , the Association of Designers of Costa Rica, ADG Brazil, Graphic Designers Bolivia, Grafitat of Ecuador, Association of Professional Interior Designers of Uruguay, International Meeting of Ecuador, Association of Designers in Visual Communication (Argentina), Association of Designers of Mendoza (Argentina ), Chile Design; and for Colombia, ADG Colombia and Red Académica de Diseño.
Rigor and objectivity
According to the CLAP website, the jury appointed by the different organizations, valued “the works presented without knowing the authors” and as an important rule noted that “no member of the jury” could “be related to the works evaluated”, being This requirement is a guarantor for the objectivity that is sought in CLAP.
PVS thus accredits another position among the tough and is committed to continuing to reap “success stories.”
