The why? I think it is simple, since it is surprising to see how a character came out of nowhere, without a great appearance or without that “look” of a superstar to which we are accustomed, ends up being an interpreter who overflows with talent and leaves more than one without words and eating his own pride.

It is amazing to see how talent comes from anywhere and with dedication and effort it explodes in that minute and a half of audition passing to posterity. It is extraordinary how some grow and become international celebrities who improve every day by continually reinventing themselves.

Perhaps, the aforementioned is the faithful summary of what happens every day in many industries and professions, full of great interviews, first impressions and overwhelming work talent. This is no different in our advertising industry, with large portfolios, coveted awards, and true celebrities who are beyond good and evil.

Great artists of creativity, strategy and communication that have been forged thanks to daily and often nightly work, accompanied by their coffee mugs, cigarettes and projects to be completed. Those artists who have taken the claw and drive, standing out through their perseverance and passion, showing that talent does not know ways or destinations and today are reliable proof of this, such as those greats with whom we had the opportunity to share in PVS Agencia this week.

Outstanding personalities such as Mauricio Rocha (Colombia), Gustavo Marioni (Argentina), and Eréndira Garibay (Mexico), and growing figures such as Sergio Muñoz (Colombia), gave their vote of confidence and “partnership” to our agency, offering us their company, advice and experience in brief talks that undoubtedly broadened our perspective by breaking preconceived paradigms that are often formed in the province.

Mauricio Rocha (@rochamundo on Twitter), Creative Vice President of Young & Rubicam Brand Colombia. He is one of the most relevant characters on the creative scene in the country. Jury of countless international advertising festivals. Winner of several Lion Cannes awards and more than 30 nominations at this same festival, among the myriad of other awards and nominations he has.

This concise, ungainly man, who possesses a body language that projects a security wherever he is looked at and who in his speech shows years of experience and acquired baggage, is the one from whom perhaps you would hope that he will deliver a poetic and idealistic speech. on how to succeed in the great festivals and transform work into something outstanding, but nevertheless, he is the one who best presents a panorama full of sacrifice, constant challenges and projects to undertake.

Mauricio Rocha is undoubtedly someone who generates hope in the possible, transmits passion and desire to create, in a creative way, that mark that transcends, that idea that our children, grandchildren and other descendants feel with pride as theirs and desire champion it and preserve it from generation to generation.

Gustavo Marioni, (@gustavomarioni on Twitter) Creative general director of Lowe SSP3 Colombia. He is an outstanding figure of Argentine creativity. He has had great contact with the European industry thanks to his work with agencies such as LOLA Madrid, Tapsa FCB, Delvico Red Cell and McCann Erickson, in addition to having ventured into advertising film direction with the production company Indio Films, and receiving various awards for their work or delivered as a jury for various international advertising festivals

This man, with a simple, close, open and perhaps somewhat shy appearance, demonstrates with great fidelity that spirit possessed by the great teachers of life, who through their receptive attitude discover what words and experiences are most convenient for each one, thus , as in an accurate and direct way they provide their enormous knowledge.

A great character who has not believed the discourse of being great and maintains that perspective in which anyone can grow and develop their talent; as long as there is perseverance, dedication, staying up late and above all a sincere passion for what is created every day. Gustavo Marioni feels every day how a dream becomes a reality, because thanks to the hard and constant work LOWE SSP3, an agency that until a few years ago was unknown, is today one of the main references of creativity and effectiveness in the world.

Eréndira Garibay, (@eregaribay on Twitter) Planner and Creative from Agencia Roja México. He is a character with a respected career in the field of communication sciences in his country, thanks to highly relevant projects carried out during his time at companies such as Gas Natural México and Coca-Cola FEMSA.

This woman of small stature, radiant smile and characteristic accent, is the faithful representative of the strength, drive and entrepreneurship that Mexican society possesses, demonstrating that to excel in a city and industry like Mexico City, only talent is enough, proof of That is why Agencia Roja, a small agency of no more than 30 people, today gives the best of battles to multinational agencies, making big world brands such as Coca Cola, Rebook, Kelloggs, Volkswagen fall in love with their work and perseverance. , among other.

This visionary woman demonstrates with her example more than her words, how high small agencies can go in the search for credibility and trust with the big brands.

Sergio Muñoz, (@ sergi289 on Twitter) Creative Copy at Señor López de Sancho BBDO. He is perhaps one of those characters that we will hear massively in the near future. This professional from our region, fights passionately, joyfully and dynamically to stand out in an industry as competitive as advertising and is earning the support and credibility that his ideas and initiatives deserve.

This character is one of the outstanding professionals who demonstrate how the Santanderean land is today one of the best habitats where the great creatives of the country are born.

At PVS Agencia, we are grateful to these great characters who, when getting off the stage, the festivals and the “good will” have not lost focus on the human warmth, simplicity and accessibility of another mere mortal, characters worthy of admiration and to follow, who are faithful referents of what talent, perseverance and faith in oneself can achieve, because to be great you must first believe it without losing sight of the humility and value that each person possesses.

Learn from mistakes because that is where you find the best opportunity to believe, “take the bull by the horns” in adversity and of course celebrate and enjoy the well-deserved recognition, because after tears, sleepless nights, spaces without sharing with your family or friends, is the best way to say that their sacrifice has also been worth it. Because when you believe in talent, your attitude, perspective and speech change.

Perhaps, this time like in a game show, the lights go out, the microphones turn on and the audience prepares to see our talent overflow, because to shine we have to prepare, fight for it and know how to take advantage of every opportunity, because in matters of talent first you have to believe it …
