In recent days, the media have flooded social networks with thousands of news items announcing the arrival of airs of violence, with terrorist attacks, public disorder, cornered dictators, silenced social leaders, cases of domestic violence, declarations of war, an increase in taxes, drug trafficking, corruption, robberies, guerrillas, impunity, mafia, and we could consecutively name hundreds of tabloid issues that make the business of war profitable. But why continue along a path that bores us, that kills us, that limits our dreams and the desire to create; that cuts our ideas and the desire to live in peace; that nullifies our existence and devalues our love for the world in which we live.
We continue killing each other, trampling our neighbor for not thinking like us, we continue to be nominated as authors of the war.
Enough already! of so many attempts on life and let’s start replacing the bombs with friend requests on Facebook; opportunistic dictatorships by brainstorming ideas that contribute the common good to a country; the bullets for “I like you” on Instagram, the guerrillas for creative pairs that positively change the world; threats to leaders for a Brand manifested to my country; antipersonnel mines for discount coupons; the car bombs for a tweet of forgiveness to my enemy; the leaders of groups armed by art directors who teach us tricks in Photoshop, the troops armed by account executives who organize the needs of a world that needs a positive improvement right now.
The change should not be postponed; because when we understand that it is worth doing things well to live in peace, there will be no headline that will smudge the future of the planet with war.
